Boston Bombing survivor Jeff Bauman weighed in on the marathon a year later: “I wish I wasn’t that man, but not because I wish I wasn’t in the photograph. I just wish I still had my legs. But I’m glad people have an image to remind them of the most important lesson from 15 April 2013: that good people will triumph over the cowards and idiots every time.”
These days it’s not enough to simply tell students there’s a snow day, give a plain old weather report, or just slap together a few glitter-soaked posters and run for high school office. It’s necessary to create a culturally relevant parody to get your message to the masses, and no one understands this better than high school class presidential hopeful Joel Werenich.
Joel is a student at Martingrove Collegiate Institute, located on Winterton Drive in Toronto. So he created 'The Wolf of Winterton' to show his classmates that he’s serious about running his school.
