There’s a huge difference in rhetoric between Obama’s “they cling to guns and religion” and Romney’s “47 percent” insult. One is a message of arrogant inclusion, the other is derisive ignorance. One is sociologically questionable presidential speech, the other is so unacceptably cynical is doesn’t belong in the basement of whatever political hell we currently inhabit.

The documentary ‘2016: Obama’s America,’ Dinesh D’Souza’s evidence-be-damned race-baiting Tea Party conspiracy rainbow party, had a $6.2 million opening weekend, playing in over 1,000 theaters.

D’Souza’s entire argument can be summed up in this quote: ‘Notice it’ — the president’s memoir — ‘says “Dreams From My Father,” not “of” my father.’ The premise is, Obama Jr. took his politics from the ‘anti-colonial,’ ‘anti-American’ philosophy of Kenyans, particularly Obama Sr., a man the president met twice in his life.

The Daily Caller, a conservative website created by Tucker Carlson, fancies itself a journalism outlet. But as it showed on Friday, its liberal equivalent is not some left-wing news and commentary portal — it’s Code Pink.
