Obviously the zombie threat is a stupid made-up thing to put a happy face on the devastating consequences of mental illness and drug use. Several of the “zombies” were under the influence or psychoactive psychoactive bath salts at the time of their gruesome attacks. Bath salts are now front-and-center in the news. With all of this buzz — both on the web and in the users’ brains — it begs the question, What in the world would prompt someone to self-administer this drug? And what the hell is this stuff, anyway?
